Zäher, gummiartiger Fruchtkörper, dünn, ohrförmig. Der Pilz lässt sich im Feld leicht erkennen, man könnte ihn höchstens mit Arten der Gattung Tremella oder Exidia truncata verwechseln. Mikroskopisch verraten die grossen allantoiden Sporen das Judasohr.
